2nd PROJECT: STORYTELLING

Hi guys! We've talked about the importance of intonation when you speak a foreign language; reading out loud short stories may help you a lot. Have a look at this link and choose a tale; after listening to the story, try to repeat and  record your voice with the sound recorder in your computer. Compare your pronunciation and intonation with the storytelling you chose and make all the changes you consider in order to improve and get confidence.Your oral skills will really improve!! (you will also revise the simple past phonetics).
You can send me your recordings.
Hope you like it!

VIDEOCLIP PROJECT!

These are the instructions worked and decided by the Coordinating Team: Marta, Gadea, Álvaro, Irene, Lucía, Pablo, Emma and Alejandro. They' ve done a great job!
You can write your comments!

Hello Bretonians!
We are the students coordinating the new video clip! These are the guidelines for the video. Don’t worry because they are too easy.

1) On Wednesday 5th, we‘ll give each one, the lyrics of the song that you have to learn. We will probably do it in your English class, but as you know who we are , you can also come to us and ask J

2) Once you have the lyrics you need to make groups. We think that if you make a group with your friends it might be easier, because you can meet outside the High School and you will feel more confident recording with them! The number of people in the groups has to be between four or five. Besides, if you just use one mobile phone , that will be easy (For us and four you too)

3) Once you have the video recording you must send it to us. . How do I send the video? Easy, if you record with your mobile phone, send it to us by WhatsApp or if you record with a camera download the files and put them into a pen drive.

So, here are some tips that you have to do before, during and after the shootings:
  • SUPER IMPORTANT: TURN YOUR MOBILE PHONES SIDEWAYS.
  • MOVE. Very, very important. Don´t stand still! Move! Dance!
  • While you do the recording, it will better and easy to listen to the song in the background.
  • Even if we make a lip dub you have to sing in the video. Why? Because that way we’ll be sure that everyone knows the lyrics.
  • An English object or symbol should appear (Sweat shirts, flags, plotters, caps, posters, books, etc..) Anything related to English.
  • We are teenagers and we know that appearing in a video is a very funny and embarrassing situation, but, guys! we gotta see you face! You can’t hide behind your hair or with your clothes, or shootings in a dark light. WE WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE.
  • As we said before, we are also shy people. Please. Don´t worry, everyone is going to appear dancing so, smile and dance. If you think that you can’t do it alone, your friends can appear with you!
  • Each video must be five seconds maximum.
  • Look at the camera! Do not look at the floor!
        THAT’S ALL FOLKS!

        REMEMBER: SING, DANCE AND LAUGH!

           DEADLINE: OCTOBER 20TH
